About
I’m born and raised in Toronto, Canada, currently working in Manhattan and living in Brooklyn. In college I studied mainly print, editorial and type design which began my love affair with story telling and typography. Since then I’ve applied those learnings to the web and mobile.
When I’m not designing I’m most likely playing the drums, finding new music for mixes, watching bad 70s movies, reading tech news or having fun with photoshop.

Responsibilities include; information architecture, wire frame design, prototyping, design layouts for web, email, and iPad, icon design, keynote presentations, design specifications and quality assurance.

Web Designer at Canada’s National Newspaper, The Globe and Mail, working on a variety of digital product launches and improvements. Responsibilities included; wireframe design, layout design for web, mobile, email, iPhone, and iPad, icon and logo design, development quality assurance and establishing branding and graphic standards. Also engaged in Agile training and practice, typeface design, user testing and market research.
Design Editor
The Globe and Mail
May 2008 – August 2008
Design Editor working on the print newspaper of The Globe and Mail. Responsibilities included; design layout for section covers and feature spreads, commissioning illustrations, and creating photo illustrations. Worked closely with editors, graphic artists, photo editors and illustrator to realize design concepts.
